Letter from the Chair: auDA Government Review Implementation Plan

Posted by auDA on 7 June 2018

Dear Members and Stakeholders,

You may recall that the Minister for Communications and the Arts (Senator The Hon Mitch Fifield) wrote to auDA on 16 April 2018 regarding the review of the .au domain (the Review).

Since then auDA has provided the Minister with the Implementation Plan for the 29 recommendations outlined in that Review, and auDA is now authorised to release this plan to the .au community.

You can view auDA’s response to the Minister and the Implementation Plan here:

The recently-formed Consultation Model Working Group (CMWG) is tasked to ensure auDA members, and the wider .au stakeholders, have their say on the reforms outlined in the Review. The CMWG, chaired by auDA’s CEO, comprises auDA members and other stakeholders from the digital community, and will provide regular updates as the important work of the CMWG progresses.
