auDA reviews domain expiry, renewal and deletion policy

auDA is currently reviewing the Domain Expiry, Renewal and Deletion Policy (2006-01).

auDA invites comment and feedback on all aspects of the policy, including in particular:

  • whether the length of the expired period (currently 14 days) is adequate
  • whether the 7 day random drop process is effective
  • whether there should be a domain redemption period (as for gTLDs)
  • whether the grace period (currently 3 days) is necessary.
