Posted by on 14 May 2015

On 27 November 2014, the Prime Minister announced the Australian Government will undertake a review of Australia’s cyber security policies and strategies.

The Review will set out ideas on how the Government and stakeholders can work together to make online systems and Internet-connected networks more resilient against cyber attacks.

The Review Team has engaged a broad cross section of industry stakeholders, seeking input on strategic priorities, potential opportunities for collaboration between the public and private sectors and possible areas of weakness in Australia’s cyber-security preparedness.

auDA has recently submitted its input to the Review and our full comments can be found here.

The Cyber Security Review will be delivered in mid-2015 and will be followed by a public strategy providing practical initiatives for improving Australia’s cyber security.
