RSSRemoval of six month prohibition on registrant transfers
In September 2011 auDA accepted the recommendations of the Secondary Market Working Group regarding the operation of the .au secondary market.
One of the Working Group's recommendations was to remove the six month prohibition on registranttransfers.
The technical implementation of this recommendation requires changes to be made to the registry database and to some registrars' systems.
Following consultation with AusRegistry, auDA has set 10 November 2011 as the date of implementation.
auDA will publish a new Transfers (Change of Registrant) Policy to reflect the changes. Until the new policy takes effect on 10 November 2011, the current Transfers (Change of Registrant) Policy (2008-08) continues to apply.
