RSSTransition arrangements for Go-Live
Melbourne, 21 June 2002 - The new domain name regime for com.au, net.au, asn.au, org.au and id.au will go live at 10.00am AEST, Monday 1 July 2002.
To ensure an orderly transition of data from the various existing registry databases to the new database at AusRegistry the following arrangements have been made:
com.au, net.au, asn.au, id.au:
No domain name registrations, renewals, delegations, redelegations or other database updates will be accepted from 12 noon AEST, Friday 28 June 2002 until 10.00am AEST, Monday 1 July 2002.
org.au:
No domain name registrations, renewals, delegations, redelegations or other database updates will be accepted from 5.00 pm AEST, Wednesday 26 June 2002 until 10.00am AEST, Monday 1 July 2002.
