Alan Cameron 

Alan Cameron AO

Independent Chairperson

Alan Cameron graduated in Arts (BA) and Law (LLM) from the University of Sydney. He worked for the NSW Aboriginal Legal Service, and taught law in Indonesia, before returning to private corporate law practice. After serving as Commonwealth Ombudsman, and chairman of ASIC, he has been a consultant and company director. He is chairman of the NSW Law Reform Commission and of the Property Exchange Australia Limited group, the electronic hub for the settlement of land transactions. He was Deputy Chancellor of the University of Sydney and is an Officer in the Order of Australia.

Rosemary Sinclair

Rosemary Sinclair is CEO of auDA, the administrator and self-regulatory policy body for the .au country code Top Level Domain.

Rosemary has many years of senior large-scale operations, governance, strategy and stakeholder experience in business and government across the communications, media and education and energy sectors. She was a non executive director of auDA some years ago.

Rosemary received the Order of Australia Award in the 2018 Queen's Birthday Honours List.

Rosemary is a Director of CPA Australia and a recent past Member (part-time) of the Australian Communications and Media Authority.

Rosemary has degrees in Arts, Law and Business and a Master of Commerce degree from UNSW. Rosemary is a qualified FCPA and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She has taken up the role from March 2020 and is based in Melbourne.

Dr Bruce Tonkin is currently Chief Operating Officer for the .au Domain Administration Limited, where he is responsible for the operations of the .au ccTLD.    Prior to that he had been chief technology officer and chief strategy officer at Melbourne IT from 1999 until 2017 , where over the years he has been responsible for IT infrastructure, software development, the development of the company's strategic and operating plans, strategic initiatives with major customers and suppliers, and managing evaluation of merger and acquisition opportunities.   He gained more than 15 years of experience taking cloud based services to global markets across the USA, Europe, and Asia for both SMBs and Enterprises.  Bruce also served on the Board of ICANN (Internet Corporation of Assigned Names and Numbers)  for 9 years.   ICANN manages the global domain name and IP addressing system for the Internet.   

Bruce holds a BE(Hons) and a Ph.D. in electrical and electronic engineering, and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

James Shady is currently the Chief Financial Officer at .au Domain Administration Limited, where he is responsible for the financial performance of the .au ccTLD. James is focused on enhancing business performance through team development and effective collaboration. He has deep corporate finance, due diligence and performance consulting experience gained conducting due diligence reviews, delivering divestments and acquisitions, and conducting complex commercial and restructuring engagements. His experience has been gained across a range of industries including financial services, healthcare, energy, transport and government as a Partner and Director in global advisory firms. James has worked on complex transactions in Australia, Asia and UK.

James is a Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), a Member of the Australian Restructuring, Insolvency & Turnaround Association (ARITA) and holds a Bachelor of Economics (Monash) and Master of Applied Finance (Melbourne).

Head of Corporate Affairs

Clayton Ford is a senior corporate affairs leader with extensive experience in government relations and public policy, communications and reputation management, and corporate responsibility across a range of countries and industries. He is the Head of Corporate Affairs with .au Domain Administration, and has previously established and lead corporate affairs teams for 7-Eleven and an ASX100 manufacturer, with prior experience across fast moving consumer goods (in Australian, European and global roles), pharmaceuticals and government.

Clayton is a Fellow of the Centre for Corporate Public Affairs and has a MBusMgt and BA(SocSci) from Monash University.
