auDA Board appoints new Chair

The Board of the .au Domain Administration (auDA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Stuart Benjamin as the new Chair of auDA.

Mr Benjamin takes over the position from The Hon. Tony Staley AO, who has made an outstanding contribution as Chair of auDA since 2001. Chris Disspain, CEO of auDA, paid tribute to Mr Staley’s service as Chair. “Tony has been a truly exceptional leader and champion of auDA. It has been an honour and a privilege to work alongside him these many years. We look forward to his continued support as he retains his position as independent Board Director. We are also pleased that Air Vice-Marshal Julie Hammer AM, CSC will remain on the Board as Deputy Chair, to help guide the organisation.”

Mr Benjamin has been a Demand Class Director of auDA for the past three years. He has an extensive background in business and runs a multi-faceted land and construction group operating across the state of Victoria. He is currently the Chair of Regional Development Australia Grampians - a federal government body, as well as the Victorian Chair and representative on the Federal Government Regional Development Reference Group, reporting to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development.
