RSSCode of Practice - call for nominations
auDA invites people with an interest in developing a Code of Practice for the domain name industry to nominate for a position on the Code drafting committee.
The committee will comprise 10-15 people drawn from the following categories:
- Registry Operator
- Registrars
- Resellers
- Consumers - business
- Consumers - individuals
Note that there is a significant amount of work to be carried out, and the estimated timeframe is approximately 12 months. Membership of the committee is voluntary. Nominees should confirm that they can make the significant time commitments necessary.
Nominees who are not appointed to the committee will have ample opportunity to participate through public consultation processes.
To nominate for the committee, please send your details including a brief statement of relevant skills and experience, to Jo Lim at jo.lim@auda.org.au. You should also indicate which of the above categories you represent.
The closing date for nominations is 25 January 2002.
