New Independent Board Director Announcement

Posted by Stuart Benjamin on 27 April 2017

On behalf of the Board of .au Domain Administration Ltd (auDA) I’m pleased to announce the appointment of a new Board Director, Sandra Hook.

Ms Hook has extensive operational, financial management and strategic experience built over 25 years in senior executive roles as CEO, COO, Marketing Director, and General Manager for some of Australia’s largest companies including Foxtel, Federal Publishing Company, Murdoch Magazines, Fairfax, ACP and News Limited. She has a track record in driving transformation and transitioning traditional businesses in rapidly evolving environments.

Since 2000 she has also served as a non-executive director on a number of Australian boards including listed, public and private companies and government bodies.

Ms Hook holds directorships of other companies including: RXP Services (ASX:RXP), MedAdvisor Limited (ASX:MDR), IVE Group Limited (ASX:IGL), Sydney Fish Markets, WYZA Limited, Royal Botanic Gardens and Sydney Harbour Federation Trust.

“As Chairman, I’m delighted to welcome Sandra to our board as an Independent Director, bringing many years of invaluable experience with her. Not only will she offer considerable executive level experience, but importantly she has a thorough understanding of the governance requirements of a Not for Profit board. In addition, her marketing expertise and knowledge of the media landscape will be a vital asset. Sandra formally takes up her position at our next Board meeting on April 24, 2017 and we are very much looking forward to her contributions.”

She replaces The Hon. Tony Staley AO who retired from the auDA Board in February.
