RSSNow in its 7th year rewarding innovation online, the ANZIAs are open!
It’s widely accepted that creating a compelling and engaging online presence is a critical path for success, across sectors. From start-ups utilising the Internet in new and innovative ways, to third sector organisations optimising their stakeholder engagement, through to regional communities creating websites to share local information. The Internet can benefit everyone.
The Australia & New Zealand Internet Awards (ANZIAs], co-created by .au Domain Administration (auDA) and InternetNZ, is an annual awards event which acknowledges those who excel in making the Internet a more inclusive, accessible and safe place. Now in its 7th year, the ANZIAs celebrate the achievements of organisations, businesses and individuals that have made significant contributions to the development and use of the Internet in Australia and New Zealand.
This year, for the first time, we are allowing people to nominate another organisation for the positive contribution that their online initiative or presence has made to the Internet.
The six ANZIA categories are:
• Diversity
• Innovation
• Information
• Access & Digital Skills
• Security & Online Safety
• The Leonie Dunbar Memorial Award for Community Websites
Previous ANZIA winner Caroline Aebersold, CEO of not-for-profit organisation The Song Room, said "Winning an ANZIA is a great way to acknowledge all the incredible work our team has done and it helps get the word out about the ARTS:LIVE project and the benefits it offers all teachers."
Yvette Adams, founder of small business The Creative Collective, was honoured to receive an ANZIA, saying it helped "build the profile and credibility of our 12 week program as well as our own company's profile".

Entries close on Friday 15 May 2015. Winners will be announced at a gala dinner at the end of August 2015.
